Eizo will showcase its RadiForce R31 and G33 LCDs.
The product is suitable for CT, MRI, PET, and 3D-rendering applications. Shipments are expected to begin in the U.S. in December, according to the company.
RadiForce G33 is a 3-megapixel monochrome LCD targeted at PACS, chest radiology, CT, MRI, and angiography applications. Its 13-bit lookup table produces a palette of 8,161 grayscale tones from which 4.096 (12 bits) can be displayed simultaneously. The product includes aperture modulation technology that allows a different area ratio for each subpixel, providing clearer contrast, according to the vendor.
The model also features a lifetime expectancy analyzer (LEA) function, which estimates the backlight lifetime, and a digital uniformity equalizer (DUE) function for optimum uniformity of the backlight's luminance.
