Siemens Display will introduce new color and grayscale displays.
The vendor emphasizes the display's luminance warranty of 10,000 hours at 220 cd/m2, which would correspond to five years of typical use. SHD21205 also includes built-in DICOM-compliant lookup tables and backlight stabilization.
SMD21302, a new clear-base, grayscale display designed for PACS applications, is a 3-megapixel product that features the Planon blue-tinted backlight. It was specifically designed for use in medical environments, according to the firm.
Siemens will also feature its SMD21500 display, which earlier this year received FDA clearance for use with digital mammography.
