Aidoc has entered into strategic partnerships with Cercare Medical and Circle CVI to expand its neurosciences portfolio.
The company said that it will incorporate the MR Perfusion and automated ASPECTS (Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score) algorithms into its aiOS enterprise operating system for clinical AI.
Both algorithms are designed for patients with stroke and other complex neurological conditions and have been CE-marked and cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Cercare Medical’s MR Perfusion provides physiological information about blood flow in the brain, to assist in identifying salvageable tissue in extended-window stroke patients and for characterizing brain tumors. Circle CVI’s ASPECTS is a tool for rapidly assessing early ischemic changes on CT scans in acute stroke.
Currently, Aidoc's neurosciences suite includes capabilities for intracranial hemorrhage, vessel occlusions, CT perfusion, cervical spine fractures, vertebral compression fractures, and brain aneurysms.
Integrating MR Perfusion and automated ASPECTS will streamline workflows across neurology, neuroradiology, neurointervention, and neurosurgery, the New York-based Aidoc said.
