Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas has launched a new cloud-based enterprise imaging platform called Exa Enterprise through Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) HealthImaging service.
Exa Enterprise is designed for hospitals with up to 500 beds and hospital-owned and large imaging centers, The platform integrates third-party partner tools for vendor-neutral archive, universal viewer, advanced visualization, image sharing, AI-powered workflow orchestration, business intelligence, and speech and reporting, Konica Minolta said.
AWS HealthImaging is a HIPAA-eligible service for storing, analyzing, and sharing medical images at a petabyte scale. The service enables Konica Minolta’s customers to increase image storage savings, image retrieval speeds, and data security through a centralized access point for their medical imaging data, the company noted.
