GE HeathCare launches new edition of its cardio software

GE HealthCare (GEHC) has launched AltiX AI.i, a new edition of its Mac-Lab, CardioLab, and ComboLab software for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology.

The AltiX AI.i edition of Mac-Lab now features a diastolic pressure ratio (dPR) algorithm that allows users to easily perform this measurement and capture diastolic hyperemia-free ratio measurements during cardiac catheterization procedures.

For electrophysiology, the AltiX AI.i version of CardioLab improves signal quality for visualization of physiological signals using the Prucka 3 digital amplifier, according to GEHC, and features Volta Medical's Volta AF-Xplorer decision support system.

Finally, the AltiX AI.i edition of ComboLab integrates electrophysiology and hemodynamic recording into a single system, "[merging] the best of Mac-Lab and CardioLab," the company said.

GEHC plans to highlight the AltiX AI.i editions of Mac-Lab, CardioLab, and ComboLab at the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) 2025 annual meeting between March 30 and April 1 in Vienna, Austria, and at the Heart Rhythm Society 2025 annual gathering from April 24 to April 27 in San Diego, CA. AltiX AI.i is currently available in the U.S. and will launch in global markets later this year.
