Amirsys to collaborate with Impac

Radiology publisher Amirsys of Salt Lake City has entered into a collaboration with Impac Medical Systems of Sunnyvale, CA, the company said.

The two firms will integrate Impac's AP laboratory information system, PowerPath, with Amirsys' PathIQ, an immunostain decision support system. The two companies hope that by combining the packages, pathologists will gain quick access to published reference materials and antibody suggesting, which will lead to more efficient and accurate diagnoses for AP cases, Amirsys said.
