Emageon will shine the spotlight on release 2.0 of its System 2003 software.

Release 2.0 adds advanced visualization, content management, and workflow integration capabilities to System 2003. Designed with an open-systems approach, release 2.0 enables enterprise visualization workflow support for diagnostic, specialist, and clinical/generalist applications, according to the Birmingham, AL-based vendor. Release 2.0 will be available December 1, and is targeted at integrated delivery networks (IDNs), hospitals, and multisite imaging centers, Emageon said.
