French firm ETIAM will debut DICOM Attaché, which allows users to publish a teaching file from a reference case stored on a DICOM-compliant archive or a CD.
Functioning in either a client-server mode or using the Web, DICOM Attaché’s database gives users rules-based access to the database. Text and multi-criteria searches can be performed, as well as submission to the RSNA’s Medical Image Resource Center (MIRC). Cases can also be converted to PowerPoint and sent by e-mail, ETIAM said.
DICOM Attaché provides DICOM connectivity, facilitating smooth connections to a PACS, and can interface with a RIS via XML, according to the Rennes, France-based firm. A DICOM viewer is also included.
