Raypax will debut its Liberty family of PACS software.
Liberty is a stand-alone workstation software package that doesn’t require a server network, according to the Altadena, CA-based firm. All DICOM-storage-capable modalities can send images to the workstations, Raypax said.
Raypax will also introduce a thumbprint recognition module that eliminates the need for passwords and keyboards, according to the firm. Available for under $10,000, the module is suitable for workstations in medical environments, Raypax said.
Raypax executives will also discuss an education and PACS training program. With the service, Raypax can provide complete pre-installation PACS training for hospital networks, or provide on-site support for a PACS environment. Additional administrative training and education is being provided in partnership with a Houston group.
