Eclipsys highlights RIS/PACS.
Healthcare informatics developer Eclipsys of Boca Raton, FL, is showcasing its Knowledge-Based Diagnostic Imaging (KBDI) RIS/PACS offering in its exhibit space at McCormick Place. The application is a full-function integrated RIS and PACS network, featuring integration extended into the vendor’s Sunrise clinical information system, Eclipsys said.
The product is available with a wide range of clinical application partner plug-ins as well as a suite of professional healthcare IT services, according to the company. KBDI features an enterprise design, COTS technology, both client server and web-based architectures, as well as the capability to a support a storage area network (SAN) and network attached storage (NAS).
The PACS portion of KBDI is available now, with the RIS component scheduled to be available in the fourth quarter of 2004, Eclipsys said.
