Intelerad adds to InteleViewer

Montreal-based PACS developer Intelerad Medical Systems is showing off several enhancements to its IntelePACS InteleViewer application at the annual meeting of the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology, held this week in Vancouver.

New additions include image selection and annotation tools, allowing radiologists to select, annotate, and send key images to referring physicians. Intelerad said it has also added functions such as "intelligent" automatic window-leveling algorithms, JPEG exporting, the ability to drag-and-drop, and to select thumbnail image series.

Intelerad has also expanded user-specific preferences, and debuted enhancements to its layout manager application.
