Canadian PACS developer RamSoft is releasing version 3.1 of its PACS software at this week's annual meeting of the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) in Vancouver.
Version 3.1 adds the ability to "push" studies to the Toronto-based firm's PowerReader Web clients, RamSoft said. This provides the remote workstations with up-to-date information, as configured by RamSoft's PowerServer automatic routing, RamSoft said. An indicator is also provided to inform the physician which studies are local and instantly accessible, and which ones need to be pulled from the server.
