Information systems firm Guardian Technologies of Dulles, VA, made its first U.K. PACS sale to Benenden Hospital Trust in Benenden.
UK Guardian Healthcare Systems, a subsidiary of the firm, facilitated the PACS contract with Benenden Hospital for approximately £71,000 ($128,000 U.S.), the company said. The PACS has been implemented as an embedded set of Web services in the RadWise 5 RIS that Guardian acquired through Corsham, U.K.-based Wise Systems.
