PRS joins DIS in Empiric deal

Professional Radiology Solutions (PRS) of Georgia has partnered with radiology group Diagnostic Imaging Specialists (DIS) to market and distribute Raleigh, NC-based Empiric Systems' Encompass product, a Web-based radiology management system with integrated RIS and PACS capabilities.

The Atlanta-based PRS and DIS plan to offer the product to the small and rural hospital market, the companies said.
