Agfa HealthCare has been awarded a Digital Imaging Network/Picture Archiving and Communications System II (DIN-PACS II) contract by the U.S. government, the Greenville, SC-based firm reported.
The contract initially runs for one year, with an additional four option years, each potentially worth $45 million, Agfa said. The contract covers PACS purchases for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, U.S. civilian agencies, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
