PACS provider SmartPACS of Irvington, NJ, will install a digital image management system at Springfield Hospital of Springfield, VT.
The contract includes not only PACS design and implementation, but also life-of-contract support through the firm's Electronic Imaging Management Solutions (EIMS) program. All software upgrades, equipment replacement, technical system and support management, and clinical applications training are incorporated in a pay-per-procedure financing and PACS management package.
SmartPACS said the installation at the facility should be completed in January 2005.
