Connect will debut its Study Workstation software, as well as several enhancements to its existing line.
Study Workstation is a miniPACS that can receive and store studies from any DICOM-compliant modality, according to the Honolulu-based firm. Studies can then be viewed, modified, printed, and sent to other DICOM service-class providers (SCP), Connect said.
Other features include the ability to scan paper records and add them to studies, burn studies to a CD along with a built-in viewer, and print them to a DICOM printer.
Connect has also added new features for its ConnectWeb Web-based DICOM viewer, including the ability to write text notes and save them back to the archive server. Individual studies can now be downloaded, and secure DICOM transfer is now available, according to the firm.
In developments with the vendor's DICOM Distributor image distribution application, users can now manually select images for distribution and employ a Web-based Distributor Manager to manage multiple DICOM Distributor applications via a single Web-based interface, Connect said.
Connect has also enhanced its ViewBox diagnostic workstation software, adding dual hanging protocols, a "floating" panel, and a separate user interface for reading mammography studies.
