RadInfo Systems will spotlight PowerPACS Image Importer in its RSNA booth.

2006 11 09 15 14 33 706 Image Importer is an integrated software tool for importing individual patient CD images studies and patient information into a PACS network, according to the Dulles, VA-based vendor.

The application features dynamic configurations, matching algorithms, and multiple safeguards to ensure PACS data importation, the company said. The technology, which is now available worldwide, complies with Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) portable data for imaging (PDI) and import reconciliation workflow (IRWF) protocols.
