Information technology firm Harris has entered the healthcare market, forming a new Healthcare Solutions business.
Harris Healthcare Solutions will provide enterprise IT offerings to private and military healthcare clients, featuring a portfolio of digital content management and visualization products, according to the Melbourne, FL-based firm.
In related news, Harris has hired Dr. Bart Harmon as chief medical officer for Harris Healthcare Solutions. Harmon comes to Harris after serving most recently as chief medical information officer and director of information management for the Military Health System (MHS) of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
