Storage technology firm Storwize has introduced a next-generation edition of its STN-6000 data compression product family.
The Storwize P series features a 64-bit architecture and includes a family of products for a range of different customer environments, according to the San Jose, CA-based firm.
STN-6800p is the company's high-end appliance and is designed to work with large-scale enterprise storage platforms, Storwize said. STN-6300p is an entry-level model, while STN-6500p is optimized for enterprise environments, Storwize said.
