(Booth 3223) Brit of Dallas will come to the RSNA meeting with a number of new technologies and partnerships, and the company also will celebrate its 15th year in business.

Brit will introduce new viewing capabilities for its Brit Vision workstation software, thanks to partnerships with nuclear medicine software developer Invia Medical Imaging Solutions and orthopedic and neurosurgical software firm Ten20.

2008 10 21 13 50 39 944 Brit Pac 2008 RoadInvia has provided its 4DM-SPECT thin-client viewer, allowing for viewing of nuclear medicine images on the same workstation as other modalities, Brit said. Ten20 is working with Brit developers on specialized viewing tools and packaging.

In other introductions, Brit will present Brit View II, a standalone DICOM viewer that's sold, downloaded, and supported over the Internet.

Brit also will point to enhancements to its Roentgen Works workflow software for radiologists providing outsourced radiology reading services. The company has embedded technologies such as Ajax and Skype into Roentgen Works and also has added discordance and urgent findings tools. In addition, Roentgen Works has been upgraded with Brit's new integrated voice dictation and transcription system.

The company also will discuss its entry into the international market via a partnership with Tamer Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Brit will provide Tamer with its PACS, RIS, and teleradiology offerings, as well as power its reading service with Roentgen Works.
