(Booth 6254) eRad of Greenville, SC, will debut calcium scoring and image fusion modules for its PACS, including support for PET/CT and SPECT/CT, on the show floor at McCormick Place.
The Calcium Scoring plug-in module adds calcium deposit quantification for early detection of coronary artery disease to eRad's PACS cardiac imaging feature set, according to the firm. It offers a wizard-like tool that walks users through identification and classification of calcium deposits; the resulting calcium scoring and patient record can then be saved as part of the exam, eRad said.
eRad's new Image Fusion plug-in module combines PET/CT and SPECT/CT images into a single volume. It includes tools for orthogonal and volume-oriented views, alpha bending, color spectrum application, and maximum intensity projection views, eRad said. The fused images can be saved to the PACS archive and attached to reports as key images.
