MIM Storage Server provides department staff and referring physicians with access to image data, offering archive searching and data transfer with automated study routing and image retrieval capabilities, according to the firm. It also can store radiation therapy-specific formats and includes scalable security options such as LDAP/Active Directory.
The company also will discuss Mobile MIM Pro, a work-in-progress application that allows for remote image viewing on Apple's iPhone or iPod Touch. It includes zoom, fusion, blending, window/level, standard uptake value, measurement tools, and contour review, according to MIMvista. Mobile MIM Pro is pending U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance and is expected to be available in 2009.
