(Booth 4265) PACS developer NovaRad of American Fork, UT, will present version 7.1 of its NovaRIS/NovaPACS software at McCormick Place.
The release features a number of enhancements, including new controls for faster scroll speeds, series hanging protocols, more rapid viewing of large datasets, and preliminary listing of reports by referring physicians, according to the firm.
The new hanging-protocol functions provide automatic comparative and single-study display, as well as automatic starting of a series in cine, multiplanar reformatting, or other advanced formats, NovaRad said. Automatic study duplication is also performed to ease image manipulation and viewing in different windows and levels, according to the firm.
Other version 7.1 enhancements include customizable series display settings and a process that enables viewing of one series in full-screen mode and then returning back to view the hanging protocol that was last used. NovaRad said it also has added series notifiers on thumbnails to indicate what studies are open, options that can allow images to occupy the entire available viewing area, and new QC functionality for technologists.
