(Booth 4270) NEC Display Solutions of America of Itasca, IL, plans to exhibit new additions to its MultiSync MD Series high-brightness color and grayscale flat-panel monitors for medical imaging applications, including PACS.
MultiSync MD's new additions include the 21-inch, 2-megapixel MD212MC and the 21-inch, 3-megapixel MD213MC color displays, as well as the 21-inch, 3-megapixel MD213MG grayscale display -- all with front sensors.
NEC's two new color displays follow its line of medical grayscales and join the 30-inch, 4-megapixel MD304MC color display with backlight sensor announced earlier this year.
The new displays feature DICOM calibration and the X-Light Pro sensor system for maintaining a consistent image, according to NEC, as well as a 12-bit look-up table (LUT) for detailed images and grayscale. NEC's ColorComp feature reduces LCD uniformity errors and compensates for differences in color/grayscale and luminance.
The MD212MC and MD213MC displays are scheduled for a December 2008 release, while the MD213MG display will be available in January 2009. The MD304MC model is currently available.
