(Booth 3003) LEAD Technologies will introduce several new imaging toolkit software releases, including version 16 of its Medical Imaging SDK, at this year's show.
The latest release includes full DICOM dataset support, compression, and viewing tools such as magnifying, window/level, cine, and look-up table (LUT) manipulation, according to the Charlotte, NC-based vendor. Other new features include extended grayscale image processing, region of interest, annotations, overlays, and digital signatures. It also can now encode 4D multislice modalities into one DICOM dataset.
The company will also discuss version 16 of its DICOM PACS Module, an add-on to Medical Imaging SDK. The module provides full support for DICOM messaging, allowing developers to create a complete PACS software package without requiring lower-layer DICOM messaging knowledge, according to LEAD. The update also includes support for the DICOM Encapsulated format.
In addition, LEAD will showcase two other add-ons to Medical Imaging SDK, including its Medical Web Viewer Framework Module. This module is designed to help programmers build Web-based teleradiology applications, according to the company.
Its Medical Multimedia Module includes DirectShow filters for compressing and decompressing video and audio data inside DICOM datasets, LEAD said.
