(Booth 7031) QStar will again highlight its SntryPACS offering at the 2008 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
SntryPACS is an integrated PACS/DICOM server, router, diagnostic viewer, and storage appliance designed to receive images directly from any DICOM modality, according to the Mary Esther, FL-based firm. Digital images from all modalities are captured and directly pushed into the integrated SntryPACS DICOM server; non-DICOM images can also be stored on the archive, QStar said.
It comes with an independent worklist module, but can also plug into an existing hospital information system, according to the vendor. SntryPACS is compatible with all QStar data management software.
In other product developments, QStar will debut its Qvu DICOM Viewer. Qvu provides a viewing option for SntryPACS, allowing users to access patient studies, images, and reports across the enterprise, according to the firm. It includes 2D and 3D viewing capability with a template-based reporting module.
The software also supports multiple study distribution options, including a customizable DICOM print composer and CD/DVD writing functionality that can interface with an automatic disk publishing system. With its rule-based routing functionality, Qvu can also be used in a teleradiology environment, QStar said.
