Image compression software developer Accusoft Pegasus has released AIMTools, a mobile imaging software development kit for iOS and Android devices.
AIMTools allows developers to create mobile applications for viewing 12-bit grayscale images, and it also enables more granular control of lossy JPEG decompressed output than is currently available on iOS and Android, Accusoft Pegasus said.
AIMTools also provides color support for RGB and CMYK JPEG decompression on mobile devices, according to the firm.
