Image sharing software developer OneDX said that its radiology management software platform now supports cloud-based clinical decision support (CDS) with point-of-care imaging order entry.
With the upgrade, the system now alerts healthcare providers instantaneously if their order of an advanced imaging test is acceptable to the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Orders are filtered against a ranking system based on appropriate use criteria, according to the vendor.
