Image management firm Purview said it will provide its medical image sharing service free of charge during the remainder of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The free service can help protect both patients and physicians by allowing them to avoid the in-person visits needed for sharing images via CDs and DVDs, according to the firm. The service is already being used in critical areas such as Italy, France, Japan, Singapore, India, the U.K., and the U.S., Purview said.
