Canadian magnetoencephalography developer CTF Systems has signed a contract to sell a mobile version of its Omega magnetoencephalography unit to San Diego-based startup MS Technologies. MS Technologies will purchase a 275-channel MEG system and a custom-shielded mobile coach, and intends to provide MEG services across Southern California.
As modifications to Omega will be required, development and delivery of the mobile unit is expected to be completed within approximately 18 months, according to CTF Systems, a subsidiary of Vancouver, BC-based VSM MedTech.
