
A new report from financial planning software firm Syntellis Performance Solutions found that medical imaging volumes have rebounded significantly from the heights of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Growth in PET, CT, ultrasound, and MRI exam volume from June 2020 to June 2021 all exceeded the 15.3% increase in total hospital activity (adjusted patient days in hospitals) nationwide, according to Syntellis.

The report, called Syntellis Performance Trends, includes data from more than 1,000 hospitals and 135,000 physicians, according to the firm.
