GE HealthCare posts revenue gains in Q3

GE HealthCare (GEHC) reported 7.2% revenue growth for its third quarter of 2026, citing growth across all segments, led by its Pharmaceutical Diagnostics business.

For the period (end-September 30), GEHC had total revenues of $5.5 billion, up from $5.1 billion in the same period last year. Organic revenue grew 6.2%. Net income rose 37.9% to $615 million from $446 million, while adjusted EBIT climbed 19.9% to $913 million from $761 million. Margin gains on both measures came from volume, price, cost productivity, and a favorable year-over-year net tariff impact, partially offset by inflation, the company said. Organic orders grew 4%, and backlog stood at $23.7 billion.

By segment, Advanced Imaging Solutions revenue grew 6.1% to $3.9 billion from $3.6 billion in the third quarter of 2025, and Pharmaceutical Diagnostics revenue rose 13% to $846 million from $749 million. Patient Care Solutions revenue increased 8.5% to $793 million from $731 million over the same period.

Cash flow from operating activities was $907 million, up $314 million year-over-year. That figure includes a $55 million refund of tariffs the company paid in 2025 under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), GEHC said.

Among recent highlights, GEHC noted its planned $945 million cash acquisition of Sofie Biosciences from Trilantic North America. The deal is intended to build out the company’s PET radiopharmaceutical supply footprint in the U.S. and is expected to close in the first half of 2027. Other highlights included the launch of its LOGIQ Focus general imaging ultrasound system and the addition of Invenia ABUS Prime to its breast imaging portfolio.
