Ferrania Imaging Technologies will be debuting two new dry imagers at the 2003 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
LifeImager 6030 is a desktop dry imager with a 300 film capacity and throughput of up to 100 films per hour, according to the Cairo Montenotte, Italy–based vendor.
It can support online availability of three film sizes (14 x 17, 11 x 14, and 8 x 10-inches). A built-in DICOM connectivity ensures smooth networking in a centralized workflow and in direct modality connections, Ferrania said. Used in combination with Ferrania’s new LifeImager DF thermal film, 6030 can handle multimodality environments.
LifeImager 6010 will also be unveiled. A single format (14 x 17-inch) dry imager, 6010 can print up to 300 films without operator intervention, Ferrania said. It is compatible with protocols such as DICOM and Windows network printing, according to the vendor.
