Display provider Barco has released DICOM Theater Lite and DICOM Theater Pro, the latest additions to the company's line of medical-grade projection systems.
Theater Lite provides projections with high-contrast (2000:1) and a light output of 2000 ANSI lumens, according to the Kortrijk, Belgium-based vendor. A BarcoMed display controller provides connectivity to PACS workstations.
Theater Pro is the new flagship of Barco's DICOM Theater line. It allows for display of multiple sources from one projector, and bundles a MGP 15 projector, a BarcoMed display controller, and MediCal Pro quality assurance software, the company said.
It can be combined with one or more flat-panel displays, and offers brightness of 4500 ANSI lumens. DICOM Theater Pro also includes the vendor's I-Guard sensor technology.
