Revenues declined and legal and consultant fees bit into InSight Health Services' bottom line in the company's third fiscal quarter of 2008.
For the period (end-March 31), revenues for the Lake Forest, CA, imaging services provider decreased to $65.4 million, down 7% from $70.1 million in the third quarter of 2007. The company's net loss increased to $19.3 million, compared with $11.5 million in the same period of 2007.
InSight blamed a $2.2 million charge for legal and consulting fees related to certain litigation and a $400,000 charge for an unconsolidated fixed-site center for the greater net loss.
