Dr. Robert Stanley has been appointed editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Roentgenology, replacing Dr. F. Lee Rogers. Stanley’s tenure will begin on November 1, 2003. The AJR is the official publication of the Leesburg, VA-based American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS).
Stanley, who is a past president of the ARRS, will be based at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he recently stepped down as chair of the department of radiology after 20 years. He will continue to practice at the university, according to the ARRS.
