Fluorescence-guided imaging technology company Lumicell has appointed Howard Hechler as CEO.
Hechler joined Lumicell as senior vice president of corporate development and strategy and was then promoted to president and now CEO. His prior experience spans investment banking, management consulting, and extensive partnering work at large medical device and biopharmaceutical companies, including Medtronic, Smith & Nephew, and Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, Lumicell noted.
Hechler graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and received a master’s degree in business and a juris doctorate from the University of Virginia.
