The American Society of Radiologic Technologists has named Daniel L. Gonzales of Carlsbad, NM, as its 2025 life member honoree.

Gonzales joined the ASRT in 1987 and the New Mexico Society of Radiologic Technologists (NMSRT) in 1986. He has held a variety of national volunteer roles with the society and most recently served as board chair in 2023 and president in 2022. He has also served as ASRT president-elect, vice president, treasurer, and vice speaker of the House, as well as liaison for the ASRT's Foundation Board of Trustees. He was chair of the Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Advisory Council for the state of New Mexico.
He has a master’s degree in radiologic administration from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwood University in Midland, MI. Gonzales currently serves as interim radiology director at Mercy Medical Center Merced Hospital in California.
Gonzales will receive the award in June at the ASRT's Annual Governance and House of Delegates meeting in Reno, NV.
