Prestige Medical Imaging has acquired medical equipment dealers XRV Healthcare and MedServ Plus. The combined company is now the largest imaging technology and services provider in the U.S.
Springfield, VA-based XRV Healthcare bridges Prestige's customer coverage area between the Northeast and Southeast, while MedServ Plus, with offices in Beaver Falls, PA, and East Palestine, OH, bolsters the company's presence in the Great Lakes region.
Prestige and partner Atlantic Street Capital are actively seeking additional acquisitions, according to a press release.
In other news, Prestige said it signed a multiyear partnership extension with the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association, becoming the team's official x-ray provider. The company has installed advanced medical imaging equipment at FTX Arena in Miami, where the team plays, and will provide the organization with industry-leading service and support for its equipment.
