Dear AuntMinnieIndia Member,
India is now on the radar of the world’s radiology community. After serving up news, views, and information to the global radiology community for almost five years, AuntMinnie.com is now launching in India as AuntMinnieIndia.com.
For many of you, AuntMinnie.com is a familiar destination. Now that destination comes with an India focus, specially tailored to the needs of the expanding imaging community in India and the surrounding region.
The goal of AuntMinnieIndia will be to inform and educate, and through this to excite new developments and innovation in radiology by means of research and practices that are relevant to this region. In this effort we hope to involve radiologists, radiology residents, technicians, vendors, clinicians, information providers, and anyone with an interest in radiology.
We're launching AuntMinnieIndia with the inaugural issue of Letter from the India Editor, a review of recent news posted on the site. Look for future issues to arrive in your e-mail inbox, and feel free to forward this newsletter to anyone you think might be interested in learning about new developments in the Indian radiology community.
This issue includes articles from the June International Symposium on Multidetector-Row CT in San Francisco, the world's premier meeting on CT imaging. Another story details a recent study from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where researchers examined the role of CT and MR in the evaluation of pericardial abscess, mostly resulting from tuberculosis.
Our site is designed to encourage feedback, communication, and contributions from all the stakeholders. So if you have a comment or contribution, please get in touch with me at [email protected]. I look forward to your participation in this new and exciting venture -- and to developing AuntMinnieIndia into a vibrant community for the region.
