Revenues for cryoablation vendor Endocare of Irvine, CA, dipped slightly in 2006, primarily due to the company divestiture of its Timm Medical unit in February 2006.
Total revenues from continuing operations in 2006 were $28.0 million, compared to $28.3 million for 2005. The net loss for 2006 was $10.8 million -- including income from discontinued operations of $311,000 -- compared with a net loss of $13.7 million in 2005, including income from discontinued operations of $1.2 million.
Revenues from continuing operations in the fourth quarter (end-December 31) were $7.1 million, compared with $7.5 million in the same quarter of 2005. The loss from continuing operations was $3 million, compared with a loss from continuing operations of $2.1 million in the same quarter a year ago.
