Interventional technology developer Boston Scientific has unveiled Coyote, a low-profile, 0.014-inch balloon dilatation catheter for treating patients receiving peripheral angioplasty procedures below the knee.
Designed to aid in treating challenging obstructive lesions in the lower extremities, Coyote features a 0.017-inch lesion entry profile and a shaft optimized for deliverability, according to the vendor. It provides rapid deflation times and is available in lengths up to 220 mm on both Over-the-Wire (OTW) and Monorail platforms.
Boston Scientific said it has begun marketing Coyote in the U.S., Europe, and other international markets.
