The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) has rolled out its 2017 research award program.
The research committee seeks to support research relevant to accreditation and quality improvement through the program. The purpose of the research award is to gain insight into the accreditation process and its value to medicine and society, the IAC said.
The committee will award grants up to a maximum of $75,000, including institutional overhead. Awards are for one year, although continuation awards are possible.
