Marconi Medical Systems has signed an agreement with Ireland’s South Eastern Health Board for the sale of three Mx8000 multislice CT scanners and MxView workstations.
The equipment will be installed at Wexford General Hospital, Waterford Regional Hospital, and Kilkenny St. Luke’s Hospital. Cleveland-based Marconi said the sale will give the vendor a 33% share of the multislice CT market and the second largest installed base in Ireland.
