GE Medical Systems has completed the installation of its 1,000th LightSpeed CT scanner. The system was received by the Zentralkrankenhaus Links der Weser in Bremen, Germany. The Waukesha, WI-based firm expects to install 500 more LightSpeed units this year. The product was introduced in 1998.
