Bio-Imaging to develop quantitative CTA software

Bio-Imaging Technologies of Newtown, PA, has signed an agreement with Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands to develop clinical software for the quantitative analysis of CT angiography data.

Bio-Imaging will have exclusive rights to use the software in clinical trials. The software will be developed to the company's specifications, including the need for comprehensive reporting and complete audit trails.

The agreement covers a three-phase development plan that begins with quantitative analysis of large peripheral vessels and includes the refinement of Bio-Imaging's current in-stent restenosis program, according to the company.
