Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm R2 Technology has released version 2.1 of its ImageChecker CT Lung CAD system.
The new release features expanded PACS integration and updates to the Pulmonary Artery Patency Exam (PE) tool according to the Sunnyvale, CA-based firm. Results from R2's AutoPoint temporal comparison tool used with long nodule detection can now be sent to a PACS workstation, R2 said.
In addition, R2's PE tool can now provide volume calculations for filling defects, according to the company. The tool is also now available separately from R2's lung nodule detection system.
