Toshiba America Medical Systems has debuted its SureSubtraction software package for its Aquilion CT line.
Designed to reduce CT examination time for neurological CT angiography procedures, SureSubtraction automates and streamlines the bone subtraction process, according to the Tustin, CA-based firm. Exam time can be reduced by as much as 90%, Toshiba said.
Following clinical evaluation at Toshiba's luminary sites, SureSubtraction will be available as an option on the vendor's eight-, 16-, 32-, and 64-slice scanners.
