Toshiba America Medical Systems said that research on its adaptive iterative dose reconstruction (AIDR) 3D dose reduction technology will be presented at this week's Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) annual scientific meeting in Baltimore.
In a July 21 presentation, Dr. Gabriel Vorobiof of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Cardiovascular Center will present his initial findings on the use of AIDR 3D with Toshiba's Aquilion One CT system to lower cardiac CT dose, according to the company.
